The LeaseOp approach
Move-in is the starting line.
A lease option combines a rental arrangement with a separately defined opportunity to purchase. LeaseOp’s goal is to help people understand the path, prepare thoughtfully, and work with qualified professionals.
Start with your situation
Tell us where you want to live, what fits your budget, and what you would like help understanding. Estimates and “not sure” answers are welcome.
Have a practical conversation
Review the context with a person. Explore the terms, costs, responsibilities, and alternatives before making a commitment.
Agree on a support plan
When appropriate, define actions such as organizing income records, reviewing savings, and speaking with a qualified mortgage professional.
Revisit the plan together
Optional check-ins create a time to review progress and adjust the plan. They do not guarantee mortgage readiness or a purchase.
Understand the agreement before the keys.
Property availability, purchase terms, option payments, rent credits, deadlines, maintenance duties, and refundability depend on the specific agreement and applicable law. An option payment is not automatically a mortgage down payment. Missing an option deadline or failing to meet the agreement’s conditions can have serious consequences.
Seek independent legal and financial advice before signing or paying. LeaseOp does not promise a property, financing approval, a future home value, or a successful purchase.
